    Emirates Airline, the official sponsors of the 2011 Dubai International Racing Carnival join Meydan for Super Thursday, with each race mirroring the conditions of a feature race on Dubai World Cup night, Saturday March 26th.

    The Dubai based airline also sponsor the US $10 million Dubai World Cup, the world's richest horse race, and then continuing contribution has been rewarded with an impressive roster of talent for the eight race card.

    The second round of the Group Three Arabian Triple Crown was the highlight at Abu Dhabi on Sunday evening and Richard Hills made every yard of the running on the Musabah Al Muhairi-trained Tenor Des Vialettes who also won the first round, as well as the UAE Arabian Derby.

    It was the fourth and final meeting of the season at Sharjah on Saturday afternoon and their main race of the campaign, the Ruler of Sharjah's Handicap, over 1700m, was won by Knife who made virtually all under Jesus Rosales for trainer Tony Manuel who said: "We know he likes it around here and this race has been his target for a long time."

    Thursday's sixth meeting of the 2011, kindly sponsored by Commercial Bank of Dubai, featured the Group Two Al Fahidi Fort, over 1600m on Turf, as well as the first two races of the Meydan Masters' Jockeys' Challenge.

    The feature was won by Derbaas for Champion Trainer Ali Rashid Al Raihe who was completing a treble on a memorable night. Richard Hills was in the saddle on the horse who was winning his fourth consecutive start at Meydan and is progressing nicely.
