CROWN ENTERTAINER (USA) (T Naughton) dislodged jockey T Naughton in the paddock however proceeded to the stalls but was subsequently withdrawn at 9:31pm when it refused to enter the stalls. Trainer Mr S Seemar was advised that CROWN ENTERTAINER (USA) was placed on the starter's list and must complete a satisfactory stalls test before being entered to race. MUSAAYER (USA) (D Mernagh) and IBTECAR (USA) (R Moore) bumped on jumping. At the 300m DAWN PIPER (USA) (P Dobbs) which was racing erratically shifted in crowding ATTENTIVE (IRE) (T Durcan). Shortly after DAWN PIPER (USA) rolled outwards and when jockey P Dobbs changed his whip the gelding again shifted in.
