PEACE ROYALE (GER) (E Pedroza) and CLIFTON DANCER (GB) (W Buick) both raced keenly in the early stages. When questioned regarding his ride on INCA NOBLE (ARG), Jockey J Murtagh reported that after jumping well, he allowed the filly to stride forward. It was at this stage the filly had commenced to over-race with an inclination to hang outwards. He further stated that near the 700m, when hanging, INCA NOBLE (ARG) had moved off the rail and then when put under pressure in the straight had failed to respond at all. A post race veterinary examination of INCA NOBLE (ARG) revealed no abnormalities.

Stewards' Reports for Alhaarth
EASTERN ANTHEM (IRE) (A Ajtebi) was hard to load. Trainer Mr M bin Shafya was advised that EASTERN ANTHEM (IRE) would be required to complete a satisfactory stalls test prior to being entered to race again. CAPTAIN WEBB (GB) (T Durcan) was fractious in the gates. BIG ROBERT (GB) (E Ahern) was slow into stride. Near the 300m, TABADUL (IRE) (W Smith) shifted inwards and inconvenienced MISTER FASLIYEV (IRE) (T O’Shea).
