    Local pride for Dynamite National Day Cup

    It was National Day Cup evening at Abu Dhabi on Sunday and the 1600m Group 1 Purebred Arabian National Day Cup was won by Dynamite who made all under Royston Ffrench.

    The pair had also won the race back in 2006 and Dynamite was returning to the UAE after a spell racing in Qatar.

    Seemar eyes challenge at Jebel Ali

    Friday's third meeting of the season at Jebel Ali is surely the best meeting of the season to date with the official feature, a 1000m conditions race, sponsored by Shadwell Farm, the American division of the breeding operation of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Nine have been declared, including the last two winners of the Listed Jebel Ali Sprint, over the same course and distance.
