At the end of daily Track Work, Monday through Friday, there will be press conferences at 9:30 a.m. with various trainers, jockeys, owners and associated connections to Dubai World Cup Day runners.

Monday’s Press Conference 9:30-10:15

Trainer of Dubai World Cup contender and reigning American champion Forever Unbridled. This is Stewart’s first runner in Dubai. A four-time G1 winner, Forever Unbridled runs against males for the first time, tries 2000m for the first time and will likely retire after the race. A filly or mare has never won the Dubai World Cup.

Trainer of Dubai World Cup contender and multiple Group 1 winner Furia Cruzada. Known for her toughness and hot-blooded nature, Furia Cruzada has been a mainstay the last two Dubai World Cup Carnivals and has proven versatile on both surfaces. She steps up again one year after a rough trip in the Dubai World Cup. A filly or mare has never won the Dubai World Cup.

Lead assistant to one of the Western Hemisphere’s top trainers Mark Casse, Melton has been integral to the operation’s success while working at its training centre/base of operations in Ocala, Florida. She has been instrumental in the development of champions like Tepin, World Approval and Classic Empire and oversees Casse’s first-ever Dubai starter, Al Quoz Sprint runner Holding Gold. A former jockey, Melton also assisted trainer Al Stall Jr. and used to work Zenyatta-conquering Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Blame.

Dubai-based trainer Satish Seemar has consistently been one of the leading trainers in the UAE and returns to Dubai World Cup night with a serious claim in the big event with North America. Among his five runners on Dubai World Cup night are 12-year-old ageless wonder Reynaldothewizard (Dubai Golden Shaheen), Yulong Warrior (UAE Derby), Raven’s Corner and Secret Ambition (both Godolphin Mile).

Media is requested to arrive at least ten minutes in advance. All Press conference videos (in HD) are available for download on the Dubai Racing Club website, along with trackwork footage (HD) and photographs from trackwork (high-resolution).
