He advised that the gelding was suffering from a foot abscess and had been withdrawn on veterinary advice at approximately 5pm. He had left the notification of this withdrawal to the attending veterinarian and believed this had been affected. At the 350m HE'S DUE (USA) (W Supple) baulked losing ground. Jockey W Supple explained that when RIVER CELEBRE (IRE) (R Moore) proceeded on his outside HE'S DUE (USA) had shied inwards and then baulked away from the running rail becoming unbalanced.

WILD WADI (GB) (C Arnold) jumped awkwardly. TIGHT JAW (USA) (D Biggs) raced fiercely in the early stages and approaching the 1300m had to be restrained when WATHBAT MUJTAHID (GB) (G Hind) shifted in after being crowded by WILDE (GB) (A Whelan). Jockey A Whelan was cautioned with regards to crowding other runners at this stage. DUBAI TOUCH (USA) (R Moore) pulled hard in the early stages. Running to the 1250m GOOD AGAIN (GB) (T Durcan) shifted in with KROPOTKIN (GB) (J Panas) striking its heels, blundering and losing ground. On enquiry jockey T Durcan was found guilty to a charge of careless riding under ERA 69 (i) was subsequently suspended from riding in races for 1 day (17 November at Abu Dhabi). Passing the 250m GOOD AGAIN (GB) (T Durcan) had to momentarily steady from the heels of WILDE (GB). A veterinary inspection of GOOD AGAIN (GB) revealed nothing amiss.
