BIOGRAPHER (USA) was then carried wide at the turn into the straight. SICNEE (USA) (W Supple) shifted inwards passing the 400m and then shifted out crowding CANYONLANDS (GB) (W Blandi) which had to be restrained outwards, brushing KHAFAAQ (GB). On enquiry jockey W Supple (SICNEE (USA)) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under ERA 69 (ii) and was suspended from riding in races for 1 day (1 December at Abu Dhabi).

At the 1550m FATEK (IRE) (G Avranche) had to be checked when QUICK FLASH (ARG) (T O'Shea) shifted in. On enquiry apprentice T O'Shea (QUICK FLASH (ARG)) was found guilty to a charge of careless riding under ERA 69 (ii) and subsequently suspended from riding in races for 1 day (1 December at Abu Dhabi). ALMANDAB (IRE) (P Smith) had to steady passing the 250m when NIGHT PREY (USA) (C O'Donoghue) rolled inwards. Apprentice C O'Donoghue was advised that he should exercise greater caution in future. Jockey S Sanders reported that MARCIALE (USA) was off the bit for the entire race and had appeared to be unsuited by the surface.

RANEEM (USA) (J Murtagh) proved difficult to load. SPEEDFIT TOO (IRE) (J Carroll) and OUTSMARTED (USA) (T O'Shea) were slow to begin. SPEEDFIT TOO (IRE) took the turn into the straight wide. Jockey D Mylonas (MORE SIRENS (IRE)) was reprimanded for continuing to use his whip when out of contention. Apprentice R Moore was questioned regarding his riding of NEXT KNIGHT (USA) in the straight. He advised that after being back in the field he had taken NEXT KNIGHT (USA) outwards near the 400m as the colt was resenting the kickback. At this stage NEXT KNIGHT (USA) had commenced to make ground and he had ridden it vigorously hands and heels. He stated that he had not resorted to the whip as he believed NEXT KNIGHT (USA) was giving its best being ridden strongly hand and heels. Jockey R Mullen (ACCESS DENIED (FR)) was warned against using his whip with his arm extended above the shoulder.
