NABHAN (AE) commenced to lay outwards near the 1200m and ran to the outside fence near the 1000m with jockey W Ryan easing the colt down in the straight. TABAAH (AE) (J Stack) raced wide in the middle stages and hung outwards at the turn into the straight. A subsequent veterinary inspection of NABHAN (AE) revealed an abscess to the inside of the near cheek. Trainer Mr R Simpson advised that he would have this treated before starting the colt.
