POTRO CELOSO (ARG) (S Hamel) and QUIITE LOVELY (USA) (K McEvoy) were slow to begin. Approaching the 1450m BALLET (ARG) had to be restrained when striding onto the heels of CRAFTY TRUST (USA) (A McGlone) when that colt rolled in slightly. Passing the 400m BABYLON'S HERO (USA) (R Mullen) was impeded and then had to be taken outwards across the heels of the tiring SEATTLE FITZ (ARG) (W Supple). POTRO CELOSO (ARG) hung in badly over the concluding 300m with jockey S Hamel unable to ride the colt out.
