At the 400m ALNABA (GB) (R Hills) hung outwards. On straightening SHUROUK (GB) (S Hamel) shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of LEEWARD (FR) (D Biggs) which became unbalanced and shifted in crowding SHUROUK (GB) which, in turn, bumped the running rail. SHAVQAN (FR) (W Smith) was impeded near the 250m when RABDAAN FATEH (BH) (G Hind) shifted in and then had to be taken inwards to obtain a run. SHAVQAN (FR) bumped with LEEWARD (FR).
