KHITAAM (IRE) (R Hills) and HUDOOD (USA) (J Panas) were slow to begin. SOLTAAT (GB) (C Kerton) raced fiercely in the early stages. At the 700m GALLANT GLORY (USA) (D Biggs) had to ease off the heels of the tiring FRATERNITY (GB) (T Naughton) and again at the 650m. Jockey G Hind (SAIHOOK (GB)) dropped his whip at the 350m. Passing the 300m NAJMAT ALSAEED (KSA) (C Tellier) shifted to the inside causing HUDOOD (USA) (J Panas) to check. On enquiry jockey C Tellier was found guilty of careless of riding under ERA 69 (i) and was subsequently suspended from riding in races for one day (Saturday 29 March at Nad Al Sheba). Following this race jockey W Ryan became indisposed and was subsequently relieved of his remaining engagement. FRATERNITY (GB) bled from its right nostril during running.
