MAJAARAT (IRE) (M Hussey) was slow to begin. Near the 1400m BOLD WINWOOD (USA) (C Taylor) steadied when crossed by MUKASSEB (GB) (P Smith). MUTAMADEE (USA) (A Whelan) was impeded several times in the straight. On straightening GOOD AGAIN (ARG) (A McGlone) had to be checked severely and veered outwards, badly inconveniencing KEEP (USA) (T Durcan). On enquiry it was established that GOOD AGAIN (ARG) was held tight when SORCERER'S WIT (USA) (B Doyle) improved on its outside at the same time MAJAARAT (IRE) and SEA COAST (ARG) (S Castellier) shifted out forcing GOOD AGAIN (ARG) onto the heels of SORCERER'S WIT (USA). In considering this evidence Stewards were unable to attribute full blame on any one rider. MAJAARAT (IRE) returned with a laceration to the near fore.
