ENTA OMRI (FR) (B Doyle) was difficult to load and after being loaded in the Stalls became extremely fractious. ENTA OMRI (FR) was subsequently withdrawn at 7.32pm. Trainer Mr Y Carter was advised that ENTA OMRI (FR) was placed on the Starter's List and must complete two Stalls' Tests before being permitted to race. JUNIOR DEL SAUL (FR) (C Avery) stood flat footed at the start, losing considerable ground. Jockey R Hills [MAZAYA (GB)] lost his off side iron on jumping, placing him at a disadvantage until it was regained shortly after. Approaching the 500m NASNAS (FR) (D Naik) had to be checked when striking the heels of BAREH (FR) (G Hind). It was established that JACKY DE CARRERE (FR) (L Bester) was tiring and BAREH (FR) had shifted out to avoid its heels, this caused NASNAS (FR) to steady then blunder. Stewards considered that no one rider could be held responsible.
