Approaching the 1300m RS KERIM (AE) (D Hayse) shifted inwards tightening SHAHROUR (AE) (C Avery) which caused that gelding to be buffeted. Near the 1200m LAHAB (AE) (T Pereira), which was racing keenly, rolled outwards slightly causing SHIJA (AE) (S O'Gorman) to shift outwards making contact with SHAHROUR (AE) which then bumped with RS KERIM (AE). AL MUTEFJR W'RSAN (AE) (X Ziani), which was following, was steadied and shifted outwards, bumping heavily with HATTEEN (AE) (G Hind) with that horse then veering outwards and inconveniencing MUANED (AE) (C Arnold) and BILLAMUNAZZE (AE) (W Hollick). AHMADANI MUSAFER (AE) (P Fessey) bore outwards in the straight with HATTEEN (AE) having to be steadied from that mare's heels passing the 400m. AF ATHHANLATNI (AE) (A Al Dubaili) lay outwards throughout. Following the running of this race apprentice A Al Dubaili was examined by the club's medical officer and declared unfit to fulfill his remaining riding engagement.
