When questioned regarding this jockey R Mullen stated that at this stage of the race SENIORITA (FR) had mistrode on two occasions and subsequently he had eased the mare out of the race as he believed she may have sustained an injury. A subsequent veterinary inspection revealed nothing amiss. Passing the 50m ALTAREEK (GB) (W Supple) shifted inwards quickly and inconvenienced AL KESBE (FR) (R Hills). Jockey D O'Donohoe (QUICK REPLY [US]) was fined AED 750 for weighing in in excess of 1kg.
