SUGARBEAR MRV (US) (R Mullen) raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Passing the 1000m URA VISION (US) (R Ffrench) commenced to over race. DUNGALI (US) (G Hind) hung outwards over the final 400m. WINNER DU CAUSE (FR) returned having bled from both nostrils. Trainer Mr D Watson was advised that WINNER DU CAUSE (FR) must pass a satisfactory gallop in the presence of an ERA veterinary officer prior to being entered to race again.

AL NAB'A (AE) (W Supple) commenced awkwardly and shortly afterwards was inconvenienced when FAJER MORAQAB (AE) (A Al Dubaili) on its inside veered outwards. Approaching the 1000m AHMADANI MUSAFER (AE) (R Ffrench) and AF AMER TAHADDI (AE) (T O'Shea) made contact on several occasions. Making the turn into the straight DORMANE GHANTOOT (AE) (A McCarthy) shifted outwards and had to be steadied off the heels of TAHTHEER (AE) (R Cleary), and shortly afterwards bumped with AL NAB'A (AE) on its inside. BILLAMUNAZZE (AE) (G Hind), which was following, was inconvenienced in this incident. Passing the 200m TAHTHEER (AE) veered outwards away form the whip of G Hind (BILLAMUNAZZE {AE}) and inconvenienced LAHAB (AE) (S O'Gorman).

LAISA (AE) (R Ffrench) dipped on jumping. Shortly after this DAS AYASHEH (AE) (J Panas) shifted inwards and bumped LAISA (AE) onto the hindquarters of AF WEAD (AE) (R Mullen). LAISA (AE) was then steadied and veered inwards bumping heavily with GRP RAYA GHANTOOT (AE) (W Mason). AF WEAD (AE) raced greenly throughout. DAS AYASHEH (AE) hung inwards in the straight obliging jockey J Panas to stop riding and straighten the filly on several occasions.
