SHAARD (IRE) (R Simons) was fractious in the paddock. Trainer C Wroe was advised that SHAARD (IRE) would be required to paddock school before being entered to race again. TRI ANOTHER CAT (USA) refused to jump when the start was effected and took no part in the race. Trainer A. Manuel was advised that TRI ANOTHER CAT(USA) was placed on the Starter's List and must complete two (2) satisfactory stalls tests before being entered to race. ATTLEE (USA) (H Al Mubasher) was slow into stride. LANDSLIDE (IRE) (K O'Hara) dwelt at the start losing considerable ground. EMDAD (USA) (A.Aldyeesh) threw its head on jumping and raced erratically in the early stages. When struck with the whip near the 250m, GRANATO (GER) (B Yamzon) shifted inwards and had to be straightened. Apprentices B Yamzon (GRANATO [GER]) & M Tarhan (SOLE [BRZ]) were cautioned with regards to the use of their whip. PFENNING (GB) (S Bussunt) returned with a laceration to the off fore fetlock.

SAMID (ARG) (R Simons) raced wide and took the turn into the straight extremely wide. At about the 500m NEW LEGEND (USA) (A Aldyeesh) shifted out when stuck with the whip, causing VANISHING ACT (USA) (A Lai) to be restrained with INDICANT (JPN) (S Cheam) and LEWA DANCE (USA) having to be steadied. General Report After considering Probationary Rider S Puthakanya's riding of RED CRESCENT (SAF) (Race 3) and SALEEL (USA) (Race 4) Stewards will recommend that his Probationary Rider's license be revoked. Stewards inquired into the reason why LEWA DANCE (USA) had started from inside of SAMID (ARG) when drawn on the outside of that horse. It was ascertained that the late withdrawal of LATE DECISION (USA) had necessitated an empty stall and that communications between the Starter and the visiting Apprentice rider of LEWA DANCE (USA) had compounded the issue.
