ALMARAM (USA) (R Cleary) was slow to begin. CROONER (IRE) (P Dobbs) was tightened for room over the concluding stages. A post veterinary examination of PRINCE OF DENMARK (IRE) (R Mullen) revealed the gelding to be lame in the right fore. Trainer Mr. S Seemar was advised that a Veterinary Certificate would be required prior to the horse being permitted to enter to race again. When questioned regarding the performance of SECRET PLACE (GB) jockey W Smith was of the opinion that the gelding had not appreciated racing back in the field and believed SECRET PLACE (GB) may be better suited racing on the pace.
