KAPIL (SAF) (W Marwing) jumped awkwardly and bumped with LORD ADMIRAL (USA) (M Kinane). Approaching the 1500m LORD ADMIRAL (USA) shifted inwards and bumped KAPIL (SAF), with that gelding then commencing to race keenly and throw its head in the air. Jockey M Kinane (LORD ADMIRAL [USA]) was reprimanded for failing to allow sufficient room to runners on his inside. Shortly after this, VORTEX (GB) (J Quinn) shifted inwards and tightened LORD ADMIRAL (USA) onto KAPIL (SAF) which then commenced to over race. COURT MASTERPIECE (GB) (K McEvoy) which was following was obliged to be steadied and lose its racing position.
