RAYYAH (AE) (L Bester) was withdrawn at 7.00pm when unable to be loaded. Trainer Dr J Bittar was advised that RAYYAH (AE) must complete 2 satisfactory stalls tests, including paddock schooling prior to being entered into race again. After being loaded, THRUST (AE) (R Smith) reared and broke through the gates, galloping rider less for a considerable distance. THRUST (AE) was subsequently withdrawn at 7.04pm. Trainer Dr J Bittar was advised that THRUST (AE) must complete a satisfactory stalls test prior to being entered into race again. RAS AL KHAIMAH (AE) (A Deau) and BARIZ (AE) (X Ziani) bumped at the start, at the same time ESTERAHA (AE) (R Ffrench) shifted inwards bumping AL MAHBOUB (AE) (W Supple) onto the hind quarters of BARIZ (AE). LIWA SPIRIT (AE) (T O'Shea) veered outwards at the start. DAYAN (AE) (A Ajtebi) commenced awkwardly with the buckle on the left side stirrup coming undone, this placed apprentice A Ajtebi in some difficulty for the remainder of he race. AL MAHBOUB (AE) (W Supple) raced greenly in the early and middle stages. MURADI ANA (AE) (R Cleary) was impeded behind the tiring JAP ANEEF (AE) approaching the 400m. LIWA SPIRIT (AE) bumped with AS JAWAHIR (AE) (T Durcan) on straightening and then had a tendency to shift inwards in the straight. AL MAHBOUB (AE) raced keenly in the early middle stages. Apprentice A Ajtebi (DAYAN [AE]) was fined AED 1000 for gesticulating over the final 50m. Following the running of this race Apprentice A Ajtebi was examined by the club's medical officer and deemed unfit to fulfill his remaining riding engagement.

COUNTRY RAMBLER (USA) (C Arnold) commenced awkwardly and bumped with HARB (IRE) (P Dobbs). LE PRINCE CHARMANT (FR) (R Mullen) was slow to begin. Shortly after straightening KING JOCK (USA) (P Shanahan) when held up behind the tiring HURRICANE JAMES (IRE) (R Ffrench) shifted outwards making contact with LE PRINCE CHARMANT (FR) which had to be steadied. On enquiry Jockey P Shanahan (KING JOCK [USA]) was reprimanded for shifting ground when insufficiently clear. Jockey N Rodriguez (ETMAAM [GB]) was warned in relation to using his whip when the chance of winning or being placed is clearly gone. Following the running of this race, Jockey J Panas was examined by the club's medical officer and deemed unfit to fulfill his remaining riding engagement.
