Trainer Ms G Duffield was advised that she must attempt to improve the starting gates manners of AS NAJM (AE) prior to racing again. Trainer Mr A Al Raihe was advised that he must attempt to improve the starting gates manners of JASOORA (AE) prior to racing again. Trainer Mr B Al Ketbi was advised that he must attempt to improve the starting gates manners of HASARAT (AE) prior to racing again. AMEER AL ZAMAN (AE) (M O'Callaghan) was slow to begin. AS NAJM (AE) was slow into stride and then raced keenly in the early and middle stages. RS KERIM (AE) (D Badel) raced wide throughout. AF RAKIZA (AE) (T Durcan) and MAZAJEH (AE) (W Supple) bumped at the turn into the straight. Passing the 350m, AF AMER TAHADDI (AE) (D O'Donohoe) shifted inwards causing HASARAT (AE) to roll inwards and tighten AL BAYYINAH (AE) (W Smith) with that mare having to be steadied and lose ground. On enquiry, Jockey D O Donohoe (AF AMER TAHADDI [AE]) was reprimanded for failing to straighten his mount when it shifted ground. Jockey R Ffrench reported that JASOORA (AE) had raced unruly. A post race veterinary examination of AMEER AL ZAMAN (AE) revealed no abnormalities.

ATLAAL (AE) (G Birrer) raced wide over the final 600m. Shortly after straightening RAKAN (AE) (T O'Shea) lay inwards and made contact with AL MUSHAMMAR (AE) (W Supple). BARIZ (AE) (T Durcan) was held up for a clear run passing the 400m and when taken outwards near the 300m made contact with the tiring SK AL TARIF (AE) (A Ajtebi) causing that gelding to be steadied. Jockey T Durcan (BARIZ [AE]) was shown a film of this incident and was advised to take greater care when shifting ground in future. AF MUKHTAREQ (AE) (A Nicholls) had a tendency to shift ground inwards and outwards in the straight. Passing the 200m AL KHAWSSAA W'RSAN (AE) (R Mullen) was taken outwards off the heels of AF MUKHTAREQ (AE) to obtain clear running and when doing so veered outwards quickly bumping RAKAN (AE). AL KHAWSSAA W'RSAN (AE) then continued to shift ground causing RAKAN (AE) to be steadied off that filly' heals near the 50m. On enquiry, Jockey R Mullen (AL KHAWSSAA W'RSAN [AE]) was reprimanded for failing to straighten his mount sufficiently when it shifted ground.

CHIEF (AE) (R Ffrench) jumped awkwardly and shifted outwards having to be restrained off the hind quarters of AL WASER W'RSAN (AE) (R Mullen). Shortly after the start, CAVALRY (AE) (J Rosales) shifted in off the heels of AL KATEEB W'RSAN (AE) (G Birrer) and in doing so caused TIMOOR (AE) to stumble and unbalance Jockey T O'Shea. On enquiry it was established that when Jockey J Rosales was attempting to ease CAVALRY (AE) to the inside of AL KATEEB W'RSAN (AE), CAVALRY (AE) had veered inwards quickly causing interference to TIMOOR (AE), as such Stewards were satisfied that no action should be taken against Jockey J Rosales. AL KATEEB W'RSAN (AE) over-raced in the early stages. AF DAYJUR (AE) (M Dwyer) returned lame in the right fore. Trainer Ms G Duffield was advised that a Veterinary Certificate would be required prior to the gelding being permitted to enter in to race again.
