NAKHWAH W’RSAN (AE) (R Mullen) was unable to be loaded and was subsequently withdrawn at 5:04pm. Trainer J Wickham was advised that NAKHWAH W’RSAN (AE) would be required to complete a satisfactory stalls test prior to being entered to race again. ILLA ANA (AE) (S Doyle) and ROYAL (AE) (D Badel) were slow to begin. Approaching the 600m, RS ARRAFA (AE) blundered dislodging Apprentice A Ajtebi. KHALEEJI (AE) (P Devlin) and RENEGADE (AE) (C Taylor) were both inconvenienced by this incident. On enquiry, it was established that at this stage of the race MUSIRR (AE) (J McGinn) which was tiring, had shifted inwards quickly away from AYA (AE) (T O’Shea) and in doing so caused RS ASSAFA (AE) to clip its’ heels and blunder dislodging Apprentice A Ajtebi. As such, the Stewards were satisfied that no blame could be attributed Jockey J McGinn for this incident. Following the running of this race, Apprentice A Ajtebi was examined by club’s medical officer and was passed fit to fulfill his remaining riding engagements.
