Trainer Mr M Hussain was advised that he must ensure he has satisfactory transportation arrangements in place in future. MOOSER (AE) (T Durcan) threw its head in the air on jumping. KNIFE (AE) (A Ajtebi) was crowded for room on jumping. Shortly after the start SHABIH EL REEH CLASSIC (AE) (S Al Taleei) shifted outwards and caused KNIFE (AE) to be crowded for room and bump with GASHEY (AE) (D Smith).

DELUDE (IRE) (L Jones) was slow to begin. Near the 300m, FLEETING SHADOW (IRE) (A Ajtebi) commenced to shift inwards and in doing so caused PLAVIUS (USA) (W Supple) to be eased off heels and be taken outwards. On enquiry the Stewards issued a warning to Apprentice A Ajtebi (FLEETING SHADOW [IRE]) and advised that he was expected to make a greater effort to straighten his mount when they shift ground in future. The saddle on ACHILL BAY (IRE) shifted sideways at the turn into the straight which caused Apprentice S Doyle to lose her stirrup irons and placing her in some difficulty when riding the horse out for the remainder of the race. Following the running of this race, Apprentice S Doyle ACHILL BAY (IRE) weighed in 1kg over weight. On enquiry, the Stewards were satisfied that apprentice Doyle had weighed out correctly and had not changed any gear. The Stewards did however fine Assistant Trainer Mr B Seemar AED 250 under ERA Rule 9 (xvi) (b) for negligence in that he added a girth cover to the gear of ACHILL BAY (IRE) which apprentice Doyle had not weighed out with.

Trainer Mr S Seemar was advised that he must attempt to rectify the gelding’s starting gates manners prior to racing again. Trainer Mr A Manuel was advised that he must attempt to rectify the horse’s starting gates manners prior to racing again. SLEEPING WEAPON (USA) (D O’Donohoe) was slow into stride. MILLENNIUM FORCE (GB) (R Burke) returned having bled from both nostrils. Trainer Mr R Bouresly was advised that MILLENNIUM FORCE (GB) would not be permitted to start for 21 days and must complete a satisfactory gallop in the presence of an ERA Veterinary Officer prior to being entered to a race again. MASH’HOOR (AUS) (A Ajtebi) returned with a cut to its left flank. VERY FAR (USA) (R Mullen) returned having lost its left fore plate.
