HAALAT YATREB W’RSAN (AE) (R Mullen) was slow into stride. ANA DHABIANIA (FR) (D O’Donohoe) was crowded for room on jumping between LIMETED EDITION (GB) (S Al Taleei) and RAHBAH (AE) (D Smith), which jumped out away from GRP MAZAYA (AE) (J Rosales). Shorty after the start, SHAYMAA (FR) (G Avranche) was inconvenienced by NAWARA (FR) (T O’Shea) which shifted in. Leaving the 1400m, LIMETED EDITION (GB) shifted out away from JARIYAH W’RSAN (AE) (W Walter), which caused NAWARA (FR) (T O’Shea) to shift outwards. MUDHISHA (AE) (P Devlin) began awkwardly and then was reluctant to take part in the race. LIMETED EDITION (GB) commenced to lay outwards from the 600m and then on straightening continued to drift outwards carrying NAWARA (AE) wide on the track. Near the 300m, LIMETED EDITION (GB) shifted outwards quickly, causing further interference to NAWARA (FR) which had to be restrained. On enquiry, the Stewards accepted Apprentice S Al Taleei’s evidence that she had made every effort to try and straighten LIMETED EDITION (GB), but the filly had proved to be too strong for her to control. As such, the Stewards took no direct action against Apprentice S Al Taleei, although instructed Trainer M Kettle that a senior rider would be required to ride LIMETED EDITION (GB) until the filly was more tractable.

AF ABHAR (AE) (S Al Reffai) was hard to load. Trainer Mr S Hawaa was advised that AF BAHAR (AE) would be required to complete a satisfactory stalls test prior to being entered to race again. MAWHOB AL REEF (AE) (J Rosales) jumped outwards at the start causing AF ABHAR (AE) to be crowded and lose its racing position. BERWAAZ (AE) (X Ziani) bounded on jumping and lost ground. Passing the 1200m, BINT MILAN (AE) (W Smith) commenced to lay inwards and when doing so shifted in onto GABAS NOOR (AE) (R Ffrench), which in turn shifted in onto MAWHOB AL REEF (AE) causing that colt to be steadied. Shortly after this, BINT MILAN (AE) when being straightened by Jockey W Smith, veered outwards sharply causing JOWHARAT AL ASAYL (AE) (C Eddery) to be steadied and BERWAAZ (AE) to be checked and lose ground. BINT MILAN (AE) then continued to hang outwards for the remainder of the race and was ultimately eased out of the race near the 200m. Trainer Mr A Al Shamsi was advised that BINT MILAN (AE) will be required to complete a satisfactory gallop in the presence of the Stewards before being permitted to be entered to race again.
