Trainer Mr K Al Neyadi was advised that AL ASSAS DE CARRERE (AE) would be required to complete a satisfactory stalls test prior to being entered to race again. TALEEQ AL INAAN (AE) (J Doyle) was fractious in the gates. MASARRAH (AE) (C Sanchez), NAUGHTY (AE) (A Murgia) and WARDA AL REEF (AE) (T Durcan) were slow to begin. Making the bend at the 1200m, MA’EROR W’RSAN (AE) (R Ffrench) raced in restricted room between KAREEM W’RSAN (AE) (R Mullen) and JAP RASHAD (AE) (X Ziani). Approaching the 600m, JAP MERSAL (AE) (D Smith) drifted outwards inconveniencing MAYMOUN W’RSAN (AE) (P Cosgrave).

MUSAALEM (USA) (T O’Shea) jumped awkwardly. EL WASMI (GB) (R Ffrench) was crowded shortly after jumping between CELTIC KING (GB) (J Doyle) and RED EYES (GB) (W Smith), which jumped outwards. Passing the 300m, RED EYES (GB) was impeded between DAHTEER (IRE) (W Buick), which drifted outwards slightly, and FARES (IRE) (K Fallon), which was hanging inwards. FARES (IRE) then continued to hang inwards over the concluding stages. COMRADESHIP (IRE) (S De Sousa) returned having bled from both nostrils. Trainer Mr R Bouresly was advised that COMRADESHIP (IRE) would not be permitted to start until it had passed a satisfactory gallop test in the presence of an ERA Veterinary Officer, to be conducted not before 21 days from the date of bleeding.
