Passing the winning post on the first occasion, FERDOUN ALAWDA (AE) attempted to improve to the inside of AF ANANI (AE) (J Doyle) when that colt drifted outwards momentarily. When AF ANANI (AE) drifted back inwards shortly after, FERDOUN ALAWDA (AE) had to be restrained. Approaching the 1400m, when HADDAJ W’RSAN (AE) (R Ffrench) drifted outwards, BAREK W’RSAN (AE) drifted outwards away from HADDAJ W’RSAN (AE), crowding AL QUAID (FR) (H Bentley) onto UDJIDORA DE BOZOULS (FR) (M Henry), causing AL QUAID (FR) to be eased.
