After being loaded in the starting gates, MAHROSA (USA) (M Monaghan) got its left hind leg caught up in the partition of the starting gates. MAHROSA (USA) was examined by the Veterinary Officer and was a late withdrawal at 3:06pm after the filly was found to be lame in the left hind. Trainer Mr S Seemar was advised that MAHROSA (USA) would be required to complete a satisfactory stalls test and that a Veterinary Certificate would be required prior to the filly being permitted to be entered to race again. EARL OF CARRICK (USA) (J Rosales) was slow to begin. INTERPRET (USA) (W Smith) raced wide throughout. Approaching the 900m, RACE TO DUBAI (USA) (R Ffrench) was disappointed for a run between INTERPRET (USA) and SCIENTIST (FR) (S Al Mazrooei), which drifted outwards slightly.
