Trainer Mr E Oertel (DREAM TUNE (GB)) was notified that prior to the gelding being entered to race again it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. ATLANTIC BRAVE (GB) and ROYAL REVIVAL (GB) commenced awkwardly. WARSAW (IRE) over-raced in the early stages. Passing the 200 metres ATLANTIC BRAVE (GB) lay in slightly and shortly after ROYAL REVIVAL (GB) shifted ground outwards. Jockey W Smith (ATLANTIC BRAVE (GB)) reported that ATLANTIC BRAVE (GB) did not stretch out in the straight and felt uncomfortable behind. A post-race veterinary examination of ATLANTIC BRAVE (GB) revealed no significant abnormalities.

After being placed in its barrier REGGAETON (ARG) became fractious and got its left hind leg on the barrier partition. REGGAETON (ARG) underwent a veterinary examination and was declared fit to race. REGGAETON (ARG) was slow to begin. ALBAYAN (IRE) and LEVI DRAPER (GB) commenced awkwardly. Shortly after the start MARHI (USA) shifted outwards quickly bumping SURGE AHEAD (IRE). In the straight FIERINESS (IRE) lay outwards. Apprentice M Monaghan (ROCKER (GB) reported that the gelding hung right throughout. A post-race veterinary examination of ASIFA (IRE) revealed the gelding to have bled from both nostrils. Acting under the provisions of ERA Instruction 30(i),(iii)&(iv), Trainer Mr A bin Harmash (ASIFA (IRE)) was notified that the gelding would not be permitted to exercise, train or race for a period of 21 days, and following must complete a satisfactory gallop in the presence of the ERA stewards or veterinary officer. Jockey P Hanagan (MUTAZAMEN (GB)) reported that the gelding was reluctant to race competitively with the blinkers on.
