I’TILAF (GB) became fractious in the tunnel on the way to the barriers getting down. I’TILAF (GB) was then examined by the veterinary officer on arriving at the barriers and was passed fit to take its place in the field. FRANCISTOWN (IRE) was slow to begin. SALVADORI (IRE) commenced awkwardly. MOUNTAIN LION (IRE) over-raced in the early stages. ARABIAN SKIES (IRE), DUBAWITECH (IRE) and YEAR OF GLORY (IRE) all raced wide without cover throughout. Approaching the 200 metres LAKE HAWK (IRE) had to be steadied when tightened for room between SALVADORI (IRE), which lay in and RESPECT ME (GB), which shifted out slightly.
