MAJD ABU DHABI (AE) was slow to stride. On jumping JAP RAHAAL (AE) shifted in bumping ZERGAT LA’AYOUN (AE) onto KAHEEL (AE). Approaching the winning post on the first occasion JANBAR W’RSAN (AE) steadied when SAIF W’RSAN (AE) rolled outwards. MH VALIDOR (AE) made the turn out of the straight the first time extremely wide. Approaching the 1200 metres JAP TAYEB FALEK (AE) commenced to hang out and raced wide on the track. Mr I Ellahi, the trainer of JAP TAYEB FALEK (AE), was notified that prior to the colt being entered to race again it must complete one satisfactory track gallop. Approaching the 1000 metres SAIF W’RSAN (AE) hung out badly. Mr B Al Ketbi, the trainer of SAIF W’RSAN (AE), was notified that prior to the colt being entered to race again it must complete one satisfactory track gallop. MAJD ABU DHABI (AE) raced wide without cover throughout. AMJAD AL DHAFRA (AE) raced wide at the turn into the straight. Near the 75 metres QASSAM W’RSAN (AE) shifted inwards causing AF JAZLAH (AE) to be restrained. Apprentice M Monaghan, the jockey of QASSAM W’RSAN (AE), was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under the provisions of ERA Rule 69(i) in that he allowed QASSAM W’RSAN (AE) to shift inwards and interfere with AF JAZLAH (AE). Apprentice M Monaghan had his license to ride in races suspended for two race meetings (MEYDAN 05.12.2013 and SHARJAH 07.12.2013). In issuing the penalty, Stewards took into account the racing manners of QASSAM W’RSAN (AE) and Apprentice M Monaghan’s good riding record. A routine post-race veterinary examination of KAHEEL (AE), failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
