MOJAWEZ (AE) – (M Lawson): Slow to begin and then bumped shortly after. Near the 500 metres, when racing greenly, shifted inwards quickly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in the right fore leg. Trainer Mr H Al Alawi was notified that prior to the horse being entered to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for the horse. GENERAL: Trainer Mr I Al Hadhrami was fined AED 500 under the provisions of ERA Rule 68(i) for presenting AF NAJWA (AE) late on course.

FANTASTIQUE MHF (US) – (D O’Neill): When questioned, regarding the gelding’s disappointing performance, rider explained that the gelding is best suited to leading and today he was unable to do so and in his opinion may have affected the performance of the gelding. AS FAYZ (AE) – (H Bentley): Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination, as the colt was fractious in the horse truck when being transported to the course. It was revealed that the colt had a laceration to its left hind leg and right hock, however was suitable to race. Raced wide without cover throughout. Rider reported that the colt is better suited to a grass surface. DORJANI (US) – (S Al Taleei): Slow to begin. MH AREEB (AE) – (X Ziani): Lost its left fore plate during running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to have a laceration to its right fore heel. MUROOJ (GB) – (R Ffrench): Rider reported that the colt was marginally slow to begin and then hung right throughout.
