ATLANTIC BRAVE (GB) – (A De Vries): Began awkwardly. A post-race veterinary examination of the horse, which weakened in the straight, revealed it to be lame in the right foreleg. Trainer Mr M Al Muhairi was notified that prior to the horse being entered to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for the horse. LIFE PARTNER (IRE) – (P Dobbs): Over-raced in the early stages. RESOLUTE RESPONSE (IRE) – (S De Sousa): Raced wide without cover throughout. CANWINN (IRE) – (O Murphy): Lay in under pressure over the concluding stages. LIMAN (IRE) – (S Al Mazrooei): Became intractable when proceeding to the barrier and after repeated attempts was withdrawn by the order of the Stewards at 2.14pm. Trainer Mr A Al Raihe undertook to make every effort to rectify the horse’s preliminary manners. Mr A Al Raihe was notified should the horse re-offend in this manner further action may be taken. IBN AL NAFIS (USA) – (R Mullen): Acting on a telephone call from trainer Mr S Seemar that the gelding had become cast in its stabling box and was suffering from general soreness, Stewards ordered the withdrawal of the gelding at 11.08am. Trainer Mr S Seemar was notified that prior to the gelding being entered to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for the gelding. WAAHY (IRE) – (W Smith): Raced wide rounding the home turn. Steadied approaching the winning post.
