GHADEER (GB) – (P Hanagan): Raced wide without cover in the early and middle stages. MERZAL (FR) – (S Al Mazrouei): Carried outwards over the concluding stages. NASHMEE (FR) – (T O’Shea): Slow into stride and then raced greenly in the straight, shifting in passing the 200 metres and then lay outwards over the concluding stages. REEH (FR) – (D Smith): Passing the winning post on the first occasion had to be steadied off heels. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, the rider explained that the horse never felt comfortable in running changing stride regularly and did not stretch out fully. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be shin sore in the right foreleg. Trainer Mr Y Al Bloushi was notified that prior to the horse being entered to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for the horse. MANADE ATHBAH (GB) – (O Murphy): Made the turn into the straight wide. BANAN AL REEF (AE) – (M Monaghan): Slow to begin ZOKHROF (AE) – (S Hitchcott): Passing the winning post on the first occasion had to be steadied off heels. Raced wide without cover throughout.

Trainer Mr E Lemartinel was notified that before the horse being entered to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for the horse. SHAHRYAR (AE) – (T O’Shea): Tightened for room on jumping and lost ground. Raced tightly and carried outwards over the concluding stages. AL WAQQAD (AE) – (R Ffrench): Raced wide without cover in the early and middle stages. BAREK W’RSAN (AE) – (S Hitchcott): Commenced awkwardly. DAHHAM W’RSAN (AE) – (M Lawson): Commenced awkwardly. Passing the 200 metres steadied when tightened for room. GENERAL: Stewards inquired into the reason for DAHHAM W’RSAN (AE) being tightened and steadied passing the 200 metres. On inquiry it was established that AS ENJAZ (AE), which was racing greenly, shifted ground inwards tightening DAHHAM W’RSAN (AE). Stewards accepted that Jockey S De Sousa (AS ENJAZ [AE]) attempted to straighten his mount. No further action was taken.
