GREEN FALCO (FR) – (R Ffrench): Passing the winning post the first time over-raced. ROYAL HUNTER (IRE) – (S Al Mazrooei): Slow to begin and raced wide without cover throughout. GENERAL: Jockey A Ajtebi (CRY JOY [USA]) was reprimanded under ERA Rule 11(j) for failing to mount his horse prior to the tunnel when instructed to do so by an Official. Rider explained that at this stage of the race the gelding did not appreciate the kick back and that was primarily why he had lost his position. STORM BELT (USA) – (P Dobbs): Lay inwards on straightening. Bumped and carried outwards near the 150 metres. SNOW SQUALL (GB) – (A Ajtebi): Over-raced in the middle stages. RESPECT ME (GB) – (W Smith): Steadied on straightening. GENERAL: Jockey A de Vries (COOPTADO [ARG]) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the provisions of ERA Rule 69(i), for allowing his mount to shift outwards near the 150 metres, making contact with FARRIER (USA) on its outside with that horse being checked. Shortly after this, FARRIER (USA) then shifted out bumping STORM BELT (USA), which was carried outwards. Jockey A de Vries had his license to ride in races suspended for 2 race-meetings (Al Ain 27.12.2014 & Meydan 31.12.2014).
