SIXTY MINUTES (GB) – (T O’Shea): Shortly after the start, when being ridden forward, veered inwards sharply. TAGSEED (IRE) – (D O’Neill): Raced wide without cover throughout. CHURCH MUSIC (IRE) – (S Hitchcott): Raced ungenerously throughout. Shifted out on straightening. JOURNALISTIC (USA) – (O Murphy): Approaching the turn into the straight, the saddle slipped backwards, placing its rider in considerable difficulty. GENERAL: Apprentice S Al Mazrouei (FESTIVAL CITY [GB]) was shown a video of the straight and was strongly advised that when his mount commences to shift he is to stop riding and straighten.

Passing the 200 metres was held tight and as a result was held up for a short distance. WARBIRD (GB) – (M Barzalona): Sustained an abrasion to its left hind quarter when being transported to the track. Underwent a veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Blocked on straightening, severely held up by a tiring runner, eventually getting clear near the 200 metres. NOW SPUN (USA) – (R Ffrench): Passing the 200 metres when racing in restricted room was held tight and had to be steadied. JOURNEYMAN (SAF) – (J Geroudis): Lay outwards over the concluding stages. RESOLUTE RESPONSE (IRE) – (S De Sousa): Steadied near the 100 metres. MUJRAYAAT (IRE) – (C Hardie): Slow into stride. GENERAL: Jockey P Dobbs (OSTAAD [IRE]) was reprimanded for careless riding under the provisions of ERA Rule 69(i) for allowing his mount to shift in near the 100 metres when not sufficiently clear of RESOLUTE RESPONSE (IRE), resulting in that horse having to be steadied off the heels of OSTAAD (IRE).

QANNAAS (USA) – (D O’Neill): A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the right foreleg. Trainer Mr. A Al Raihe was notified that prior to the gelding being entered to race again he must provide a veterinary certificated of fitness for the gelding.
