A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in the right foreleg and was transported to the Dubai Equine Centre for further assessment. Trainer Mr O Mohammed was notified that prior to the horse being entered to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for the horse. MYRA DE MONLAU (FR) – (C Demuro): Carried inwards shortly after the start. BIGG N RICH (US) – (W Smith): Began awkwardly and got its head up when being steadied in the early stages. Over-raced in the early stages. AF LAFEH (AE) – (R Ffrench): Commenced awkwardly. Raced wide without cover throughout. Lay inwards near the 300 metres and momentarily steadied. MASEH ASF (GB) – (R Hughes): Commenced awkwardly. VERSAC PY (FR) – (P Hanagan): Slow to begin. Rider reported that the horse did not stretch out at any stage. BRADESTER (USA) – (J Lezcano): Buffeted and restrained near the 1000 metres. Steadied near the 800 metres. FRANKYFOURFINGERS (FR) – (M Barzalona): Approaching the 100 metres lay out under pressure and bumped. PRAYER FOR RELIEF (USA) – (C Soumillon): Checked near the 1000 metres. Inconvenienced approaching the 800 metres. GRAPHIC (IRE) – (R Moore): Checked and buffeted near the 1000 metres. Hung inwards approaching the 800 metres. GENERAL: Jockey P Hanagan (TAMARKUZ [USA]) was fined AED 1500 under the provisions of ERA Rule 69B(a) for using the whip to excess. Jockey R Mullen (SURFER [USA]) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the provisions of ERA Rule 69(i) in that, approaching the 1000 metres he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of GRAPHIC (IRE), tightening that gelding in on to PRAYER FOR RELIEF (USA), which in turn made contact with BRADESTER (USA), which bumped QUADRIVIUM (USA) which restrained. R Mullen had his license to ride in races suspended for 2 race-meetings (Qatar 08.04.2015 & 09.04.2015). In assessing penalty Stewards took into account Mr Mullen’s forthright evidence, his guilty plea and his good record in regards to breaches of this rule.

Raced keenly leaving the straight on the first occasion. Had to be checked when racing to the inside of another runner approaching the 1400 metres. FAITHFUL CREEK (IRE) – (K Fallon): Bumped on jumping. TAP THAT (JPN) – (J Moreira): Bounded on jumping. GOLDEN BARROWS (USA) – (R Moore): Over-raced in the early and middle stages. MAFTOOL (USA) – (P Hanagan): Slow into stride. DEAR DOMUS (JPN) - (K Miura): Bumped and inconvenienced near the 1400 metres. GENERAL: Stewards inquired into an incident near the 1400 metres involving SIR FEVER (URU) (W Buick) and DEAR DOMUS (JPN) (K Miura). It was established that at that stage of the race, Jockey W Buick (SIR FEVER(URU) had attempted a marginal run on the inside of DEAR DOMUS (JPN) (K Miura) and bumped and shifted that colt outwards. Shortly after DEAR DOMUS (JPN) held SIR FEVER (URU) tight again making contact with that colt. Jockey W Buick (SIR FEVER (URU)) was warned and advised he is to ensure he has adequate racing room before committing to a run. Jockey K Miura (DEAR DOMUS (JPN)) was also warned and advised that in similar circumstances he is not to place undue pressure on runners to his inside.
