ATHMAN (IRE) – (R Mullen): Lay outwards from the 500 metres and over the final 200 metres raced tight with another runner, bumping on several occasions. BINSABT (USA) – (O Murphy): Raced wide without cover throughout. CHIBCHAN (IRE) – (D O’Neill): Bumped on jumping. PIEPOWDER COURT (IRE) – (M Monaghan): After being placed in its barrier became extremely fractious and unsettled. The gelding was taken out of its barrier and following a veterinary examination was passed fit to take its place in the field. Slow to begin. Shortly after the start commenced to lose ground and eventually was eased out of the race. The rider reported that the gelding did not stretch out at any stage and under these circumstances he eased the gelding down. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the right hind-leg. Trainer Mr S Seemar was notified that prior to entering the gelding to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness. BEACHY HEAD (IRE) – (R Ffrench): Bumped on jumping. BELLMINER (GB) – (G Buckell): On entering the track, the colt baulked, dislodged its rider and galloped approximately 1000 metres before being recaptured. The horse was withdrawn at 5:21 pm by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice. INDUS RIVER (IRE) – (S Al Mazrouei): Slow to being. INTENSE EFFORT (IRE) – (P Dobbs): After being placed in its barrier the gelding became fractious and reared up. The gelding was taken out of its barrier and following a veterinary examination was passed fit to take its place in the field. Passing the 400 metres was carried outwards and over the concluding 200 metres raced tight with another runner, bumping on several occasions. Trainer Mr M Al Subouse was notified that prior to the gelding being entered to race again it must complete one satisfactory stalls test.
