FITZGERALD (IRE) – (S Karlsson): During the running of the race lost its right-fore plate. COLONSAY (USA) – (O Urbina): Steadied approaching the 800 metres. ETIJAAH (USA) – (D O’Neill): Commenced awkwardly. LIGHT BURST (USA) – (P Dobbs): Ruptured the off fore suspensory ligament apparatus during running and was pulled up at the 600 metres. After being attended to by the ERA Veterinary Officer the horse was euthanized. UNIDENTIFIED (ARG) – (S Al Mazrouei): Was examined by the veterinary officer after sustaining a laceration its left-fore frog when stabled on course and was passed fit to start. GENERAL: Trainer Mr F Nass (HARD DIVORCE [USA]) was fined AED 500 under the provisions of 51(vii) for failing to present the gelding in the parade with a shadow roll, which it had been declared to race in. HARD DIVORCE (USA) raced without a shadow roll.

The filly underwent a veterinary examination and was passed fit to take its place in the field. AL HARTH (AE) – (I Koyuncu): Commenced extremely awkwardly and veered outwards. QOUTB AL JANOUB (AE) – (J Rosales): Trainer Mr. A Al Mehairbi advised that due to the horsebox vehicle breaking down en route to the course, the colt would not arrive by the required time. ALBAR LOTOIS (FR) – (W Smith): Rider reported that the horse did not feel comfortable from the 1400 metres onwards and under these circumstanced he eased the horse down. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the horse to have pulled up lame in the right foreleg. Trainer Mr E Lemartinel was notified that prior to the horse being entered to race again it must pass a suitability test conducted by an ERA veterinary officer. MERZAL (FR) – (S Al Mazrouei): Over-raced in the early stages. MUNZADE (FR) – (S Karlsson): Approaching the 600 metres shifted outwards. GENERAL: Jockey R Ffrench was fined AED 1500 under the provisions of ERA Rule 69B(a) for using the whip to excess.
