DIPLOMATIC FORCE (USA) – (S Hitchcott): A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be suffering from heat stress. MURASIL (USA) – (W Smith): Commenced awkwardly and shortly after was bumped and tightened for room, losing ground. PREPARED (GB) – (T O’Shea): Bumped on jumping. QUIET DIPLOMACY (GB) – (D O’Neil): Bumped on jumping. SKY JOCKEY (JB) – (R Mullen): Shifted ground in the straight. STAR OF BROADWAY (GB) – (G Buckell): When being loaded, became fractious getting its right foreleg on the sideboard of the barrier. The gelding was examined by the veterinary officer and was passed fit to race. Slow to begin. Raced ungenerously throughout. Rider reported that at no stage throughout the race did the gelding felt comfortable in its action. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer Mr H Albloushi was notified that prior to the gelding being entered to race again it must complete a satisfactory track gallop in the presence of the Stewards. JUST A PENNEY (IRE) – (P Dobbs): Raced wide without cover throughout.

Trainer Mr. M Al Muhairi was notified that prior to the horse being entered to race again, he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for the horse. CROSS GRAIN (IRE) – (R Mullen): Raced wide without cover throughout. ENERY (IRE) – (J Rosales): Raced wide without cover throughout. TANSEEB (GB) – (T O’Shea): Slow into stride throwing its head and then was carried outwards slightly.
