BLESSINGTON (IRE) – (R Ffrench): Commenced awkwardly. GHOST ARMY (IRE) - (F Tylicki): On arriving at the barrier, the gelding was found to have blood in its mouth. Underwent a veterinary examination and passed fit to start. Raced wide without cover throughout. Returned with a laceration to its tongue. ACTIVE SPIRIT (IRE) - (S Hitchcott): Commenced awkwardly. STATE LAW (IRE) - (P Dobbs): Passing the 600 metres was held up behind a tiring runner and was taken back through the field. When questioned, the rider explained that he was unable to avoid the tiring runner as he had runners to his outside and inside. Under those circumstances, he was obliged to come back, eventually improving to the inside and near the 200 metres angled outwards to obtain a clear run. Further, in his opinion the gelding had finished the race off well. PREPARED (GB) - (T O’Shea): Hung out throughout and over-raced in the middle stages. DESERT WINGS (IRE) - (R Mullen): An application was received at declaration time from trainer Mr S Seemar for the gelding to be excused from the parade ring as the horse has been very unruly when paddock schooled at Meydan on the 5th November. Stewards acceded to Mr Seemar’s request but informed him that it is expected that the gelding eventually takes its place in the parade ring. Fractious on the way to the barrier. Shifted outwards on jumping.

NEED TO KNOW (SAF) – (T O’Shea): Lay inwards approaching the 1200 metres and then raced wide without cover throughout. EXPERT (IRE) - (D O’Neill): Commenced awkwardly and then shortly after was held tight and raced in restricted room. When questioned, rider explained that the gelding had not raced truly and had a tendency to lay inwards. ONE MAN BAND (IRE) - (P Dobbs): When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance, Trainer Mr. D Watson explained that he concurred with the comments of the Jockey P Dobbs in relation to the kick back at its last start, however, in his opinion the colt had improved considerably in fitness since its first start. He further explained that in its last preparation the colt had performed similarly at its first outing. LAST FIGHTER (IRE) - (R Mullen): Veterinary officer reported that the gelding sustained a laceration to its right hind coronet. MUHTARAM (GB) - (F Jara): Slow to stride.

STORMARDAL (IRE) – (D Probert): Saddle had to be re-adjusted at the barrier. NATHR (USA) - (D O’Neill): Checked and became unbalanced passing the winning post the first time. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the colt to be suffering from the “thumps”. The subsequent morning, trainer Mr. D Watson reported that the colt had recovered well and he intended to drop the colt back in distance at its next start. BEACHY HEAD (IRE) – (M Fernandes): Bumped, tightened and carried inwards passing the winning post the first time. ZALZILAH (GB) - (R Mullen): Rider reported that the gelding would be better suited to a shorter distance. BRABBHAM (USA) – (X Ziani): Raced wide without cover in the early and middle stages. COURT ROOM (IRE) - (F Jara): Slow to begin. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for NATHR (USA) checking and becoming unbalanced passing the winning post the first time. Jockey F Tylicki (ISTINFAR [USA]) pleaded guilty to charge of careless riding under the provisions of ERA Rule 69(i), in that he allowed his mount to shift inwards passing the winning post the first time bumping BEACHY HEAD (IRE) and carrying that colt inwards onto NATHR (USA), which had to be checked and become unbalanced. Jockey F Tylicki had his licence to ride in races suspended for two race meetings (Meydan 03.12.2015 & Sharjah 05.12.2015). In assessing penalty Stewards took into account Jockey Tylicki’s good record in relation to careless riding and his guilty plea.
