CLASH OF TRITON (USA) – (C Hayes): Bumped and shifted inwards on jumping. JUST PRETEND (USA) – (R Mullen): Bumped and was unbalanced on jumping. Became unbalanced making the turn into the straight. DOLLY MIXTURES (GB) – (D Probert): Carried inwards and bumped at the start. General: Jockey D Probert (DOLLY MIXTURES (GB)) weighed in 1kg over weight. On inquiry it was established that gear had been added whilst DOLLY MIXTURES (GB) was being saddled by the stable representative of Trainer Mr H Albloushi. TAQNEEN (IRE) – (D O’Neill): Bounded on jumping HAMMURABI (IRE) – (R Mullen): Put its head down as the start was effected and lost ground. Raced wide without cover throughout. BLUE CREEK (GB) – (W Buick): When questioned regarding the performance of the colt, the rider explained that the colt was tardy at the start but had travelled well throughout, however, in his opinion the colt is immature at this stage of his career and also would be better suited by a longer distance.

FAUVISM (USA) – (D David): Bumped shortly after the start. Was buffeted approaching the 400 metres. GRAND ARGENTIER (FR) - (P Dobbs): Impeded and carried back by a tiring runner passing the 600 metres. NEED TO KNOW (SAF) – (T O’Shea): Bumped on jumping. Over-raced in the early stages. SADEEK’S SONG (USA) – (C Hayes): Rider reported that the horse made respiratory sounds throughout and lost its action approaching the 400 metres. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. LIFE PARTNER (IRE) – (S Hitchcott): Slow to begin. Held up for clear running at the home turn and early part of the straight. VALE DO SOL (IRE) – (H Bentley): Bumped on jumping. ALKAWN (GB) – (P Hanagan): When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider explained that the gelding had been very unsettled in the barrier prior to a start and had been slow into stride. Also the gelding had not raced truly throughout and had tired passing the 500 metres. In his opinion the gelding may benefit from the addition of head gear. When questioned Trainer Mr. D Watson said that he would monitor the recovery of the gelding but advised that the gelding would now be spelled. HUNTERS CREEK (IRE) – (R Ffrench): Passing the 400 metres had to shift out to obtain a clear run SHEBEBI (USA) – (M Monaghan): Slow into stride. TANFEETH (GB) – (F Jara): Bumped on jumping. Raced wide without cover from the 800 metres.
