General: Jockey J Spencer (BELGIAN BILL (GB)) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the provisions of ERA Rule 69(i), in that near the 1500 metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of TELLINA (SAF) (W Smith) which had to be restrained and lost ground. J Spencer had his license to ride in races suspended for a period of two race meetings (Sharjah 27.02.2106 & Meydan 03.03.2016). In assessing penalty Stewards deemed interference to be in the mid-range and took into account his guilty plea and good careless riding record.
