AF ASHRAS (AE) – (M Fernandes): On straightening had the tendency to lay inwards. AL TAREQ (AE) – (G Buckell): Was unruly in the parade ring and had to be mounted on the track and then was reluctant to proceed to the start. Withdrawn at 5.04pm when unable to be loaded into barrier. Trainer Mr H Al Alawi was notified that prior to the horse being entered to race again it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. INAYAT W’RSAN (AE) – (D O’Neill): Restrained near 400 metres. ES DEEMHA (AE) – (C Hayes): Steadied and taken outwards near the 400 metres. MADAEN (AE) – (R Ffrench): Lay out at the turn into the straight. RAQQASSAT W’RSAN (AE) – (S Hitchcott): Restrained near the 300 metres. BAREED AL REEF (AE) - (R Ffrench): Was unsettled in the barrier prior to a start and as result was slow to begin. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for D O’Neill (INAYAT W’RSAN (AE)) restraining near the 400 metres. On inquiry, it was established that at that stage of the race, AF ASHRAS (AE) had lay inwards and at the same ES DEEMHA (AE) shifted out with slightly, resulting in INAYAT W’RSAN (AE) being restrained. Jockey W Smith (AF TAWAQ (AE)) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the provisions of ERA Rule 69(i), in that he shifted in near the 300 metres, when taking a run to the inside of AL MANAL (AE), when not sufficiently clear of RAQQASSAT W’RSAN (AE), resulting in that filly having to be restrained. W Smith had his license to ride in races suspended for a period of two race-meetings (Meydan 19.11.2015 & Al Ain 20.11.2015). In accessing penalty stewards took into account W Smith’s guilty plea.
