SULLIVAN STREET (IRE) – (G Buckell): Raced keenly at 1200 metres getting its head up and had to be steadied shortly after when racing in restricted room. GRIZZLE (GB) – (R Fitzpatrick): Attempted to buck shortly after the start. INTENSE EFFORT (IRE) – (S Hitchcott): Re-saddled at the barrier. MARHI (USA) – (W Smith): Slow to begin. MATADOR DE TOROS (SAF) – (F Jara): Threw its head on jumping losing ground and shortly after was tightened for room. RU’OUD (GB) – (R Mullen): Raced wide without cover throughout. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for SULLIVAN STREET (IRE)(G Buckell) having to be steadied near the 1200 metres. On inquiry is was established that approaching the 1200 metres SULLIVAN STREET (IRE) had commenced to race keenly and at the same stage SIMPLY (GB)(D David) had improved into a tight run to the inside of HATTAASH (GB)(D O’Neill), which shifted in slightly, resulting in SULLIVAN STREET (IRE) having to be steadied. Jockeys D O’Neill and D David were both advised to exercise more care in a similar situation.
