When questioned rider explained that after missing the start the colt did not appreciate the kick back and for this reason shifted wide on the track. LAKE HAWK (IRE) – (T O’Shea): Carried wide on straightening. MATADOE DE TOROS (SAF) – (F Jara): Raced wide without cover throughout. SHAMAL (GB) – (F Tylicki): Carried wide on straightening. STAR OF BROADWAY (GB) – (R Ffrench): Approaching the 1200 metres got its head up. TEZ (GB) – (G Buckell): Commenced awkwardly. Passing the 1400 metres commenced to race ungenerously for a short distance. ROMOSH (IRE) – (S Mazur): Slow into stride. TOBACO (ARG) – (P Dobbs): Passing the 200 metres shifted outwards. SIBERIAN HEIGHT’S (USA) – (S Hitchcott): Commenced to race ungenerously near the 1400 metres Angled outwards at the turn into the straight. General: The ERA Official Starter advised the Stewards that MISTER PARMA (IRE), which had started in a race in the United Kingdom, was unruly and fractious when undergoing routine gate schooling after race declarations. It was the Starter’s recommendation that the colt not be permitted to start today and undergo further gate schooling. After discussion with Trainer Mr S Seemar, Stewards ordered the withdrawal of MISTER PARMA (IRE) on Wednesday 30th of December 2015, and directed that before being declared in a race the colt must satisfactory pass a stalls test.

TAJHEEZ (IRE) – (D O’Neill): Required to have its right hind plate reshod in the saddling enclosure. LEVI DRAPER (GB) – (T O’Shea): Rider reported that the gelding never travelled at any stage of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the left foreleg. Trainer Ms B Deutrom was notified that prior to the gelding being entered to race again she must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for the gelding. ALMERZEM (USA) – (P Hanagan): Slow into stride. Eased out of the race near the 1000 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from both nostrils. Acting under the provisions of ERA Rule 21B(a)&(e), Trainer Mr M Al Muhairi was notified that the gelding would not be permitted to exercise, train or race for a period of 60 days, and following must complete a satisfactory gallop in the presence of the ERA Stewards or Veterinary Officer. DARKENING (IRE) – (C Hayes): Steadied passing the winning post on the first occasion. MAKZON (USA) - (F Tylicki): When questioned regarding the early and middle stages of this race and specifically in relation to the gelding being well out of its ground, rider explained that after the start the gelding showed no early acceleration despite being urged along and slapped with the whip. He had continued to endeavour to urge the gelding along and near the 1000 metres the gelding had connected with the field and commenced to make ground and had finished extremely well. TADMIR (USA) – (D Probert): Slow to begin. RICH AND RIGHTEOUS (IRE) – (R Mullen): Raced wide without cover throughout. General: Apprentice H Crouch (MUTUAL FORCE (USA)) was fined AED 1000 under the provisions of ERA Rule 65(ii) for weighing in more than half a kilogram above the weight declared. In assessing penalty, Stewards took into account that this was the first occasion that H Crouch had offended under this rule and that MUTUAL FORCE (USA) had finished 5th.
