ROH AL ETTIHAD (AE) - (B Reis): Shifted out and bumped another runner. SIBAWAIH (AE) - (I Koyuncu): Slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have bled from both nostrils. Acting under the provisions of ERA Rule 21B(a)&(e), Trainer Mr I Aseel was notified that the filly would not be permitted to exercise, train or race for a period of 21 days, and following must complete a satisfactory gallop in the presence of the ERA Stewards or veterinary officer.

HAREER AL REEF (AE) - (F Jara): Began awkwardly. TAIER AL SAHRA (AE) - (A Al Siyabi): Passing the winning post on the first occasion shifted out away from the heels of another runner. WANNAS AL REEF (AE) - (J Rosales): Slow to begin. AF AL BOKHT (AE) - (A Fresu): Lay in under pressure in the straight General: Stewards inquired into the reason for JUMANAH (AE)(A de Vries) having to be checked near the 1000 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that near the 1000 metres AL HILALY (AE)(B Reis), commenced to hang outwards at which time JUMANAH (AE), improved to the inside of AL HILALY (AE). As AL HILALY (AE) was hanging out, B Reis corrected his mount and as a result shifted ground inwards, tightening the running of JUMANAH (AE), which had to be checked. Stewards were of the view, that A de Vries, the rider of JUMANAH (AE), should not have improved to the inside of AL HILALY (AE) at this stage, due to the racing manners of the colt and that there was insufficient room. A de Vries advised him to exercise more care in a similar situation. Jockey P Robles (DERGHAM (AE)) was reprimanded under the provisions of ERA Rule 69B(c)(ii) for continuing to hit his mount after its chance of being placed had clearly gone.
