Acting under the provisions of ERA Rule 21B(a)&(e), Trainer Mr R Bouresly was notified that SNOWBOARDER (USA) would not be permitted to exercise, train or race for a period of 21 days, and following must complete a satisfactory gallop in the presence of the ERA Stewards or veterinary officer. KING COLE (USA) - (P Dobbs): Rider could offer no explanation for the colt’s performance. Near the 1300 metres after initially being bumped by another runner was taken out and tightened for room for a short distance. SECRET AMBITION (GB) - (R Mullen): Bumped another runner shortly after the start. Knuckled shortly after the start. PREPARED (GB) - (T O'Shea): Bumped by another runner at the start. FA'IZ (IRE) - (M Monaghan): Brushed another runner near the 1400 metres. GRATUITIES (USA) - (I Koyuncu): Bumped by another runner at the start. Bumped another runner near the 1400 metres. When weakening, lay in and bumped another runner near the 800 metres. Approaching the 700m restrained when tightened for room. MUHARRIB (IRE) - (S Al Mazrooei): Commenced awkwardly and lost ground. PARKLIFE (IRE) - (A McLean): Commenced awkwardly. RU'OUD (GB) - (F Jara): Lay out near the 1500 metres. BALLAD SINGER (GB) – (S Hitchcott): Near the 700 metres was taken inwards by another runner. General: Stewards sought clarification into the reason for DANGEROUS THOUGHT (USA)(P Dobbs) being bumped and hampered near the 800 metres. On inquiry it was evident that for some distance from the 1400 metres DANGEROUS THOUGHT (USA) raced tight to the inside of GRATUITIES (USA)(I Koyuncu) before that colt, when weakening, shifted in near the 800 metres and made contact with DANGEROUS THOUGHT (USA), resulting in that gelding being hampered on a number of occasions. Stewards reminded Apprentice I Koyuncu of his obligations to do his utmost to keep his mounts straight at all times, especially on a weakening horse.
