ROH AL ETTIHAD (AE) - (G Buckell): Began awkwardly, shifted in and hampered another runner and lost ground. Rider explained that after beginning awkwardly the horse did not travel well in the early stages and felt amiss in its action behind and for this reason elected to ease ROH AL ETTIHAD (AE) out of the race approaching the 1300 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in both hind legs. Trainer Mr. H Al Alawi was notified that prior to the horse being entered to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for the horse. TASHKEEL (AE) - (N Barzalona): Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages. ZAAFRAN AL RAWASI (AE) - (M Monaghan): Shifted out on jumping and bumped another runner. Rider reported that the horse was one paced throughout. MOUBARAK (AE) - (G Avranche): Hampered by another runner at the start. WANNAS AL REEF (AE) - (S Hitchcott): Severely hampered at the start when tightened for room.
