It was established that approaching the 200 metres PINTER (GB) improved to the outside of MUHARRIB (IRE) as that gelding shifted out slightly while weakening. As a result PINTER (GB) shifted out abruptly off heels of MUHARRIB (IRE) and bumped severely with MARXIAN (IRE), which had shifted in slightly, resulting in both runners becoming unbalanced. Due to the circumstances of MUHARRIB (IRE) and MARXIAN (IRE) shifting ground in addition to PINTER (GB) over-reacting, Stewards took no action against any one rider.
