ISTINFAAR (USA) - (P Sirigu): Travelled wide rounding the turn. Shifted out abruptly near the 700 metres. RU'OUD (GB) - (R Mullen): Commenced awkwardly and bumped another runner. SULLIVAN STREET (IRE) - (A de Vries): Commenced awkwardly. MINOR'S CUP (USA) - (S Hitchcott): Hampered at the start. LAKE HAWK (IRE) - (T O'Shea): Commenced awkwardly, shifted out and hampered another runner. WHAT ASHAM (GB) - (G Mešetovic): Hampered at the start by another runner. General: Trainer Mrs B Deutrom (WHAT ASHAM (GB)) was fined AED 500 under the provisions of ERA Rule 51(vii) for the late gear change to race the colt with a tongue-tie. Following the running of Race 2, Stewards questioned all riders regarding the safety of the meeting to continue due to the inclement weather. Due to extremely strong winds, which unbalanced horses during the running of the race and debris on the track, Stewards abandoned the last 4 Races.
